First Ballet

Marmee took Gracie to her first ballet over Thanksgiving break! The Nutcracker was showing at Paramount Theater in Abilene, and the Rowdy Girl crew joined us for the magical experience...

Gracie pointed and exclaimed, whispered excitedly, watched with big eyes, and sucked half the air out of the balcony gasping over the Nutcracker prince. It was all great - until the finale, when she suddenly refused to speak in anything but full voice. I had to carry her out like a football under my arm as she was yelling, "I don want to go bye byyyyyyeeeeee!"

I give it an A+ for effort!
