Guns Up

Jonah has been OBSESSED with his Texas Tech shirt lately. He tries to wear it every day, and often insists, which results in huge showdowns when it's covered in popsicle stains. His teacher at school (who has a lot of children to remember) recognizes the shirt now.

Last weekend, Jonah suddenly realized that we were ALL wearing our Texas Tech shirts. For a child like Jonah, who loves to collect things, this was seriously wonderful. I imagine, in the future someone will ask him to go to his "happy place" and this will be the day he remembers.

Michael spent some time trying to teach Jonah to put his guns up.

It didn't quite process...

Awesome work Jonah!!! We taught Liam how to put his guns up. We've been working on it about a year now. He finally can both point his finger and keep his thumb up. We've also taught him that a Double T says, "Go Tech Go." So every time he sees one now he'll put his gun up and say "Go Tech Go."

Too bad G can't fit into the cheerleader dress, yet. Cracking up at his expression in the last picture! I just love your kids.

Go Tech! Let's hear it for my little Red Raiders. It's time for 2 things, you know. A serious visit to the campus to acquaint him with the home place, and showing him that Guns Up is the starting point for pizzicato. Gracie has such a fine role model!q
