On snow day #1, sleet pelted our house and coated our yard with ice. The temperature dropped into the teens during the day, and single digits at night. But, there was no snow.
On snow day #2, the sun did not come out. The temps stayed in the low 20's, so nothing melted. Ice still coated the yard, and there was still no snow.
On snow day #3, the sun peeked out, but the temps stayed in the low 20's, so nothing melted. Ice still coated the yard, and there was STILL no snow.
On snow day #4, we peeked out the window and saw....
Fortunately, you can get some traction on snow (vs. solid ice), so we were able to step out of the house, FINALLY. Jonah was so happy to find Donovan out in his yard too. Nothing like human contact after 4 days of being cooped up!
